Daneland Living History (English)
Daneland Living History is a Viking Age reenactment group based in Arad, Romania. The group is led by Jarl Dennir – Dennis Thomsen, a Dane living in Arad – and is dedicated to bringing the Viking Age to life through historical reenactment, combat demonstrations, traditional crafts, authentic encampments, and educational living history activities.
2026 has been a remarkable year for Daneland. The group has participated in historical and medieval festivals in Getodava, Iași, Suceava, Arad, and Oradea, where they have shared Viking history with thousands of visitors and collaborated with reenactors from across Romania and beyond.
Driven by authenticity, passion, and a strong sense of community, Daneland Living History continues to grow while creating engaging and immersive Viking Age experiences for audiences throughout Romania and Europe.
Daneland Living History (Română)
Daneland Living History este un grup de reenactment dedicat Epocii Vikingilor, cu sediul în Arad, România. Grupul este condus de Jarl Dennir – Dennis Thomsen, danez stabilit în Arad – și are ca scop readucerea la viață a istoriei vikinge prin reenactment istoric, demonstrații de luptă, meșteșuguri tradiționale, tabere autentice și activități educative de living history.
Anul 2026 a reprezentat un succes important pentru Daneland. Grupul a participat la festivaluri istorice și medievale în Getodava, Iași, Suceava, Arad și Oradea, unde a prezentat publicului cultura și istoria vikingă și a colaborat cu reenactori din întreaga Românie și din străinătate.
Ghidați de autenticitate, pasiune și spirit de comunitate, membrii Daneland Living History continuă să se dezvolte și să ofere experiențe captivante și educative inspirate din Epoca Vikingilor pentru publicul din România și Europa.

Tabăra Viking Daneland
Viking camps for children and families, combining adventure, learning, crafts, games, and historical experiences in an engaging Viking environment.
Daneland Shoemaker – Dennis Thomsen
Handcrafted historical footwear inspired by archaeological finds from the Viking Age. Each pair is made by hand with traditional techniques, focusing on historical accuracy, durability, and authenticity.
Together, these three branches form Daneland Living History – a passion for bringing the Viking Age back to life through experience, craftsmanship, and living history.

Reconstituirea autentică a Epocii Vikingilor prin tabere istorice, demonstrații de luptă, meșteșuguri, îmbrăcăminte și viața de zi cu zi. Creăm experiențe captivante în care istoria poate fi văzută, auzită și trăită.
Tabăra Viking Daneland
Tabere vikinge pentru copii și familii, care combină aventura, învățarea, meșteșugurile, jocurile și experiențele istorice într-un mediu inspirat din lumea vikingă.
Daneland Shoemaker – Dennis Thomsen
Încălțăminte istorică realizată manual, inspirată din descoperiri arheologice din Epoca Vikingilor. Fiecare pereche este confecționată manual folosind tehnici tradiționale, cu accent pe autenticitate istorică, rezistență și atenție la detalii.
Împreună, aceste trei ramuri formează Daneland Living History – o pasiune pentru readucerea Epocii Vikingilor la viață prin experiență, meșteșug și istorie vie.
